Follow the steps carefully to  delete your Instagram account:

1. Log into your Instagram account from a mobile or computer. You can’t remove your Instagram account from the Instagram app

2. Now in your browser go to the Delete Your Account page by clicking this link.

3. Click the drop-down menu showing ‘Why are you deleting your account? And choose an option.

4. Now it will again ask you to re-enter your Instagram password.

5. Now click on ‘Permanently delete my account’ and done now your account is deleted for forever.

How to temporarily disable Instagram account?

1- Log into your Instagram account from a mobile browser or computer. You can’t have the option to deactivate your account from within the Instagram application.

2- Tap or click on the icon as shown above then select Edit Profile option.

3- Now Scroll down to the bottom and tap or click Temporarily disable my account.

4- Then a new page will open, and it will ask you a question ” Why are you disabling your account? ” now select the appropriate reason.

5- Again it will ask you to re-enter your password.

6- Now when you enter the password the option to disable your account will only appear front.

7- Tap or click Temporarily Disable Account.
